1. Who we are

2. Using this site
By using this site you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have permission from a parent or guardian, and that the information you give us is accurate. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or impair it.
3. Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can, but images are illustrative and colours may vary between screens. Dimensions and weights are approximate unless stated otherwise. Where a product has a stated specification, that specification forms part of the contract.
4. Availability and pricing
All products are subject to availability. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We take care to price correctly, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we are not obliged to supply it at that price; we will contact you to confirm or cancel the order and will refund you in full if you choose to cancel.
5. How a contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not form a contract. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order. If we cannot fulfil an order we will tell you and refund any payment taken.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. Your order will not be dispatched until payment has cleared.
7. Delivery
Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
8. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel and return are set out in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
9. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made, or for business losses. Our total liability in respect of any order will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
10. Intellectual property
The Tech & Trove name, logo, site design and content are owned by us or used under licence, and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
11. Accounts
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.
12. Third-party links
Where this site links to other websites, those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those in force on the date you place it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
